Lobster Anyone??  How about Wine & Chocolate??

Foodie Alert…I think that Networking event hosts are beginning to figure out that many networkers are highly motivated by FOOD. Check out these two upcoming events… Get ready for the annual Del Mar Lobster & Wine Festival.  It’s not until July 18th, but you get $20 off your ticket if you register BEFORE June 15th! This is brought to you by the The San Diego Coastal Chamber of Commerce.   Closer on the calendar is eWomen Network’s Wine, Women & Chocolate Fundraiser on the 18th, also in Del Mar.

Del Mar is seeing a lot of networking action…ABRA is having a mixer at Arterra (at the Marriott) on the 17th. ABRA (Affinity Business Referral Association) is a San Diego networking success story. Founder Matt Hackett has done a great job of creating a networking organization that is attracting new chapters like crazy…he now has over 20 chapters in 5 states.

If you are on Twitter then you most likely have seen Guy Kawasaki – maybe you’re one of his 130,566 followers, I am!  Well, The San Diego Venture Group is bringing Guy in to speak at their next meeting June 25th.  His topic? “Using Social Networking to Market Your Business” Should be packed!
