San Diego Networking Guide – Feb 19, 2009
February 19, 2009
Greetings…
Many times networking events will sort of wind down at the end of the month…not this month. First…did someone say Wine Tasting?? The San Diego chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI San Diego) in conjunction with Financial Executives International (FEI), will host a wine tasting on Tuesday in the Golden Triangle area. Here’s the info.
That will warm you up for two great events on Wednesday the 25th (how to choose?). First there is Three Women Wednesday sponsored by the SDSU Alumni Association. I went to their Three Tom Tuesday and met a very interesting and diverse group of people AND heard some great speakers (Including local publishing celeb Tom Blair). This event proves to be just as stimulating with three dynamic women speakers. If nothing else, you have to give them credit for creative event naming! More information.
Your second choice for next Wednesday is the equally valuable CONNECT.ORG’s signature networking event Connect with CONNECT. For those who are not familiar with CONNECT, they are a non-profit supporting the growth of the technology and life science businesses. Their events are ALWAYS top notch and will attract professionals who usually do not attend any other event.
Then on the lighter side of things, Women On Course, (an organization for professional women who want to see why the guys think that golfing is so great with business buddies) is having a luncheon on Saturday the 28th. Check it out
Mom Business Associates is sponsoring another quality seminar on Monday March 16th at 12:00 p.m.
“Smart Planning is Everything: How to Organize Your Finances and Plan for Profit”
This event is a Food Drive for the San Diego Food Bank in combination with a financial management seminar. Please bring non-perishable food items for donation to the San Diego Food Bank. More information
Coming **For The Last Time** March 3rd
The global exposure brought by NetworkingEventFinders.com is demanding that I restructure my offerings. I, personally, will no longer offer open enrollment workshops. Watch for webinars & teleclasses…so to catch a live workshop…act now!
Ok…here’s the scoop. The success of NetworkingEventFinders.com, even in this early stage has been overwhelming and I have the chance now to do what I have wanted to do from the beginning…bring on more Link System® Trainers nationally and globally. I am holding this workshop and looking to replace myself here in San Diego. I am making it as easy as possible with a payment plan and lead generation. Interested? Here’s more info.
”Making the Connection” – A Workshop on The Millionaire’s Handbook
There have been many books on Networking. They all make a very good case for the power of connecting with others, but there is none that so effectively spells out the best strategies and tactics to use. The Millionaire’s Handbook by Mel Kaufmann, guides you step-by-step to find and connect with the people you need to meet…at Networking Events, and anywhere else you may have an opportunity to engage another.
